About
Academic Certificate Verification Platform (ACVP)
The Academic Certificate Verification Platform (ACVP) is a common and trusted platform for verifying academic certificates issued by the higher education institutions in Hong Kong through blockchain technology. The ACVP is funded, implemented and operated by the Joint Universities Computer Centre (JUCC).
The ACVP streamlines the verification of qualifications and related academic records issued by registered institutions. It enhances the efficiency, convenience and security for their graduates to have full control on sharing their credentials. The platform enables employers and further study institutions to verify and access the qualifications under this trusted platform directly as shared by the graduates.
Joint Universities Computer Centre (JUCC)
The JUCC, incorporated in tive effort of the Computing/Information Technology Services Centres of the eight government-funded tertiary institutions in Hong Kong. The JUCC today comprises eight institutional full members and ten affiliate members.
Being the consortium of the tertiary institutions of Hong Kong, the JUCC aims to coordinate, develop, provide and advise on computing and information technology services in teaching, learning, research and administration for its member institutions and the higher education community in Hong Kong at large; it has a long history of doing so.

For Graduates
Share
Graduates and students share the Link/QR Code to employers on ACVP, or they can send the ACVP's credential to employersFor Verifiers - Employers & Further Study Institutions
Verify
Verifiers open the shared QR Code/Link to verify, or they can upload the credential pdf file to ACVP for verificationFor Institutions
Upload
Institutions generate and upload the electronic academic certificate to ACVP
Encrypt
ACVP encrypts the electronic academic certificate and hash the meta data
Store
ACVP stores the hashed and encrypted data on Block ChainCollaboration
The following JUCC institutions (https://www.jucc.edu.hk/) have collaborated to implement and operate the platform. They are to adopt the platform based on their own schedules. Their graduates may refer to the institution links below, if any, or else approach individual institutions for details.
